Remember that we are a 25-30 minute hike from the lakefront up into the mountain valley, and there is a free escorted walk each day at 1pm from our Meeting Point at Circles Cafe in town when we are expecting arrivals. Please email or Whatsapp us a day before to confirm that you will be at Circles Café on your arrival day. If you arrive after 1pm, we can still offer Escort Services for $10. Please contact us via email or Whatsapp to arrange this.

We also offer porterage services for $10 per bag. If you request to have your bags carried for you, the fee will be added to your individual bill. You can also add this as an option when reserving your stay.

Remember to travel to us with a backpack, a head lamp and a spirit of adventure.

Check in time for cabañas is 1pm, and check out time is 11am. This is in order for us to get beds changed and ready for your arrival, and for the other guests. If you would like to depart later than 11am, we have a secure place for you to store your bags in our office and we invite you to have a snack or a smoothie in our café shop surrounded with an amazing view.

We would prefer that you do not arrive at Kawoq Forest before 1pm. Please do not arrive on your own. For your safety we offer the 1pm escort service.

Your first included service is Restorative Yoga at 3pm followed by dinner at 5pm. On departure day, you have included 7:30am morning meditation and yoga class, followed by breakfast at 10am, and checkout is required by 11am.

**Backup plan for late arrivals** Please stay in town and contact us on +502 33011835 to inform us that you arrived late so we can arrange the 1pm escort service for the following day. We recommend La Paz Hotel, Circles Cafe and Paco Real for accommodation if you missed the pickup. If you have missed the 1pm pickup due to circumstances beyond your control, when availability permits, we will extend your booking by an extra night free of charge. If extension of an extra night is not possible, we will offer a 50% refund on the first missed night for inconvenience.

We offer a free escorted walk back to town on your departure.

We have internet available for guests for an additional fee that will be added to your Kawoq Forest tab and paid upon check out.

It is necessary to bring your own biodegradable toiletries, and layers of clothing to suit varying temperatures during the day and night. All bedding is provided. Natural insect repellent comes in handy and a headlamp is a necessity. Yoga mats and props are provided. See the full packing list in your guest handbook when you book your stay with us.

You can make your reservation directly on our website using the Retreat Guru system. If you are planning a longer stay and would prefer to pay via bank transfer or direct deposit, please email us at info@kawoqforest.com. For a reservation we require a payment prior to your arrival at Kawoq Forest. We can accept credit cards once you are on site if you wish to extend your stay or pay for any extra services incurred.

Inclusive rates include two daily yoga classes, two vegetarian meals, and weekly use of the sauna when available (on Wednesday nights).

For cancellations to Personal Yoga Retreat reservations;

90+ days notice; Kawoq offers a 90% refund

31-90 days notice; Kawoq offers a 65% refund

Between 30 and 7 days prior to arrival; Kawoq policy offers a 40% refund

Less than 7 days notice of cancellation, there is no refund

Wellness Services: After wellness service bookings, if you choose to cancel the wellness service more than 24 hrs before, you will be billed 50% of the wellness service rate and last minute cancellations less than 24 hrs before, will be charged 100%.

Amendments to Personal Yoga Retreats;

If you shorten the length of your visit during your stay with us; Kawoq policy offers a 50% discount on the difference between original and final rates.

If you change your dates, we offer one complimentary change. The second date change we charge a $50 admin fee.

Retreat Group Bookings;

All initial deposits are non-refundable. Your deposit can be applied to a later date (within 18 months) if cancellation is more than >60 days of your retreat start date.

A retreat booking may be canceled precisely at the 60 day mark without any penalties other than initial deposit will be forfeited.

Retreat bookings canceled between 60 and 31 days notice will forfeit the original venue hire deposit. Further payments made will be credited for future retreat use (to be used within 18 months).

For cancellation within 30 days of retreat start date, all payments will be forfeit and no longer credited to future use.

Kawoq Forest is a sustainable living experience. Composting bathrooms, outdoor showers and naturally built cabañas. There are no private bathrooms anywhere on the property.

There are spiders and scorpions in the forest. It is a forest, there are other creatures too of course. But it is always good to know. Mosquitoes are not a problem, but there are small coffee flies that can be bothersome during the early dry season. Bring some natural insect repellent or wear long pants and long sleeves.
